Message from the School Principal
Welcome to Indonesian School of Bangkok or Sekolah Indonesia Bangkok (SIB) website. SIB is an Indonesian school administered by the Indonesian Embassy in Bangkok, Thailand. It is located in the embassy’s compound. It comprises Kindergarten (Taman Kanak-kanak), Elementary School (Sekolah Dasar), and Secondary School (Sekolah Menengah Pertama and Sekolah Menengah Atas).
The school accommodates the need of Indonesian-background children staying in Thailand of good education in the basis of Indonesian culture as well as the awareness of other cultures. With the vision of building smart, competitive and cultured students, the school sets all the learning processes and facilities to achieve those qualities of students.
This website informs about the activities of this school as well as the students. It is updated regularly to provide the users with the recent news about the school. It also makes possible to access the academic materials presented by the teachers to the students. In implementing the school-level of curriculum (KTSP=
Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan), SIB has its own syllabus designed by the teachers. The syllabus is designed based on the Standard of Content published by the Department of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia.
